Shipping

Your package will be shipped within 3 working days after ordering. Standard insured shipping with PostNL. If you prefer DHL or UPS as carrier, please let us know (please note that extra shipping costs will be applicable).

La Vitrine de Caroline is not liable for delays, damage, theft during shipping, or for orders not properly delivered. However, we will handle any damage for you with PostNL. If the contents of your package are unexpectedly damaged during shipping, we will file a claim with PostNL. This is only possible if you report the damage to us within 3 days of receiving the shipment. If the claim is approved, PostNL will only reimburse 60% of the value of the item you purchased, as these are secondhand items. We ask that you take some specific photos of the damaged item and the shipping box with the cushioning material. The photos are described below.

We need the following pictures:

  • Please take pictures of the outside of the box, with the address label clearly visible. In case the box is damaged, please take pictures of this damage.
  • A picture of the opened box, with the content and packing material clearly visible.
  • A picture of the packing material.
  • A picture of the damaged item.
  • A close-up of the damage.
  • A close-up of the address label.
