Deruta Sberna pitcher Raffaellesco
SKU: AW339Beautiful handmade and hand-decorated majolica pitcher decorated with the Raffaellesco pattern. This pattern is inspired by the 16th century frescoes made by the painter Raphael in the Vatican. Raphael captured a dragon-like figure, the Grottesque, which has since become a symbol of blessings and happiness. In Deruta it is said that with a Raffaellesco item in the house, bad luck will pass you by.
The pitcher was made in studio Sberna in Deruta.
