Burleigh Pottery Blue Calico coffee cup with saucer
SKU: SD448English Burleigh creamware cup and saucer, decorated with the indigo blue floral pattern Blue Calico. Burleigh Pottery still uses (as the only pottery in the world) the traditional tissue transfer printing technique, in which each piece is decorated by hand.
Dimensions: diameter saucer 13.4 cm, diameter cup 6.5 cm and 6 cm high.
Condition: in excellent, vintage condition. The cups may have some tiny paint spots on the inside due to the decoration technique. Some cups are only marked on the bottom with Made in England, or with Burleigh ironstone, Staffordshire, England.
