Decorative Chinese earthenware pottery Shiwan ware ginger jar, made in the second half of the 19th century (late Qing) in Shiwanzhen, Foshan. The pot has a hexagonal bulbous shape and the recessed side panels are decorated with embossed floral motifs, each panel with a different species of flowering plant. The glaze has a deep green color and is nicely worn on the corners. The base and raised neck are unglazed.

Dimensions: diameter base 9.8 cm, height 12.5 cm.
Condition: signs of use in accordance with age.
