A pair of English Bristol Green wine glasses. This style of glass was produced consistently throughout the Georgian period—spanning four decades—from approximately 1790 to 1830–1840. Later examples were mass-produced and tend to be heavier. They are small—closer to the size of a modern port glass—and the green hue leans towards blue. The glasses vary slightly in size. They are relatively heavy and date to around 1850–1870.
Dimensions: foot diameter 7 cm. Heights: 12.3 cm and 12.8 cm.
Material: lead glass.
