Small tin glazed earthenware jug, decorated with a large flower and floral patterns. This pattern in cobalt blue, also known as 'Poppy', was frequently used on early work by pottery maker Talavera de la Reina, Castilla La Mancha, Spain.
Dimensions: 14 cm high, approximately 9.5 cm diameter.
Dated 18th century.
Condition: small chips on the rim of the opening and on the foot ring. Craquelé.
