Beautifully decorated silver plate, also known as a ceper, made between 1890 and 1910 in the Sultanate of Riau in East Sumatra. The silver content of the plate is Below Legal Standard (BWG). Embossed (decorated using the hammer technique) with traditional lotus flower and palm leaf motifs.
