Verlys Art Deco pressed glass bottle decanter coaster
SKU: GD15426Pressed glass coaster for a wine bottle or decanter. The coaster has a satin-finished underside with a floral pattern. The top features 4 raised ridges that break the contact of the bottle with the base of the coaster. A clear raised rim through which the ribbed pattern of the base rim subtly shines through.
Marked in a circle in the center with a square containing the intertwined letters VA, which stands for Verrerie des Andelys, abbreviated to Verlys, a producer of Art Deco glassware. Verlys glass is highly sought after by collectors.
Made in France in the 1930s.
Dimensions: diameter 12.7 cm, raised rim 1.5 cm high.
