A pair of lead crystal wine glasses, port-sized. The glasses stand on a thick, round foot and have a facet-cut, oxagonal stem with an enclosed air bubble. The base of the bowl is hexagonal, and the bowl is cut with panels. Attributed to Val Saint Lambert, possibly a precursor to the Metternich model, to which it bears a strong resemblance, except for the hexagonal foot. Dated 1875-1900.
Dimensions: 12.5 cm high, foot diameter 6.5 cm.
In excellent condition.
