Vallauris Robert Picault egg cups 1950s
SKU: SD1094Mid-Century Modern Art Pottery eggcup, made in Vallauris by Picasso's friend, the ceramicist Robert Picault. Picasso and Picault collaborated regularly in Vallauris from 1948 to 1953. The eggcup is glazed in a diamond pattern with Picault's characteristic colors of white, turquoise, and brown. It dates to the early 1950s.
Marked on the underside.
