Carl Teichert Meissen Blue Onion bowl
SKU: SD2012252Porcelain bowl, hand-decorated in cobalt blue on white with pattern Blue Onion. Produced by the Carl Teichert porcelain factory in Meissen, which successfully copied the Meissen tableware lines from 1879 onwards. Teichert porcelain is now highly sought after by collectors due to the quality of its porcelain and paintings.
Marked with the Teichert mark in blue; an oval cartouche containing the name Meissen above a star. This mark was used from 1882 to 1929.
Dimensions: diameter 15.8 cm, raised rim 3.5 cm high.
